FLIR Ebx Series Thermal Imaging Cameras

The FLIR Ebx Series of thermal imaging cameras carries similar features to those within the FLIR E Series. Many of the technical specifications are matched by cameras within the FLIR Ebx Series, although there are some key enhancements.

One such improvement is an increase in temperature range: the E30bx camera can detect and display temperature differences within a range of 250°C whilst the E40bx, E50bx and E60bx can all operate with temperatures of up to 650°C, compared with 120°C across the E Series cameras.

The FLIR Ebx Series of thermal imaging cameras offer professional thermal imaging cameras for demanding thermography work, including electrical and mechanical maintenance. Operating at 60Hz image frequency, the FLIR Ebx Series provides quality, fluid thermal imaging on a large 3.5" touchscreen display.

Using the touchscreen, the FLIR Ebx Series thermal imaging cameras allow you to zoom and focus your infrared camera on key parts or components to ensure clarity and accuracy in all of your thermal images.

The large touchscreen that features on the FLIR E30bx FLIR E40bx, FLIR E50bx and FLIR E60bx cameras (the entire FLIR Ebx Series) ensures that you get a better view of what you are scanning with the thermal camera. This means more efficient thermography work can be carried out, as you will always get the right picture every time.

A 3.1 megapixel camera is also incorporated into the FLIR Ebx Series thermal imaging cameras with up to 320 x 240 pixel resolution. An LED light is also included in some models, which allows you to capture well-lit and clear images without requiring additional lighting sources.

Images can be transferred to a PC via USB and this good resolution allows clear viewing on a monitor. Some models also allow wireless transfer via WiFi, as well as offering both text and voice annotation.

Some FLIR Ebx thermal imaging cameras incorporate FLIR's Picture-in-Picture technology, displaying a section of thermal imagery over the original, 'visible' image. This allows you to pinpoint areas of attention during later analysis and quickly determine where a problem may be occurring.

FLIR Ebx Series thermal imaging cameras also offer many helpful measurement functions such as spotmeter, box with maximum/minimum temperatures and isotherm above/below (features vary between models).
